Ardblair Sports Importers Terms & Conditions
This page states the terms and conditions under which you may use the aku.co.uk website. Any use of this website means you agree with them. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions then you are not authorised to use this website.
Contract Formation
Any order you make through the aku.co.uk website is subject to acceptance and availability; we reserve the right to refuse your order at our discretion and for any reason without explanation.
Please note that the contract of purchase will exist between you and Ardblair Sports Importers Limited.
For the avoidance of doubt, no contract for any product purchased will exist between you and Ardblair Sports Importers Limited until you receive an email sent by aku.co.uk confirming that the product in question has been dispatched.
By placing an order through the aku.co.uk website you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and at least 18 years of age.
Payment
Ardblair Sports Importers Limited can only supply goods that are ordered through the aku.co.uk website. All payments including all shipping, handling and packing fees must be made by either credit card, debit card or PayPal. All payments are taken at time of purchase. aku.co.uk cannot accept any other form of payment such as cheques, postal orders or cash.
Prices
Prices are as stated on the website (in GBP Sterling) and are subject to change without any prior notice. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Occasionally errors may arise where prices are incorrectly displayed or change as a result of circumstances beyond aku.co.uk's control. If this circumstance should arise, you will be informed of the correct price of the item when we receive your order and you will be given the opportunity to cancel the order should you not wish to purchase the product concerned at that price.
Delivery
Normal Delivery Times
UK & Eire orders
All orders placed before 2pm Monday - Thursday, where 1-2 delivery has been selected, are dispatched on the same day, but this can vary during our busiest periods, bank holidays, when we go into sale or when the office has been closed for a period of time, and especially on Mondays. Please note, some couriers may require an extra day to deliver to remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
Delivery times apply from the time your order is dispatched.
You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched.
International Orders
We do not currently deliver to anywhere outside the UK & Eire.

UK Standard DPD (3–5 working days) FREE on orders over £50 or £4.99 if less
UK Express DPD (1-2 working days) £5.99
Ireland: DPD Standard Shipping (3-5 Days) £12.99
DPD Saturday Delivery (UK only) - Order by Thursday 2pm to guarantee - £6.99
*Please Note: Some deliveries may require an extra day to reach remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands.
Contract Cancellation
If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a contract at any time within 14 days, beginning on the day after you received your products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the products in accordance with our refunds policy below (Product Returns).
To cancel your order, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the products to us immediately and at your own cost and risk. Please take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.
Your right to return or cancel products does not apply to goods that are made to measure or are made to your specification, that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned. This doesn't affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
WEB RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Returning or exchanging your item is simple. Please read the details below and ensure you have all of the correct information to return your purchase.
You have 30 days from receiving your order to return it. Items must be returned to us as new, unworn, with all original packaging and in a saleable condition with the tags unremoved. Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to you.
In the unlikely event that the item you have received is sub-standard, please contact [email protected] with your order details and a photo or description of the fault. We will get back to you to resolve your issue.
Please do not contact us multiple times for the same enquiry - we do our best to get back to you within 72 hours. Duplicate enquiries will only slow down this process. Thank you.
HOW TO RETURN YOUR ORDER
If you decide you would like to exchange or return an item or order which you have purchased on aku.co.uk, please follow these simple steps.
1. Please fill in the RETURN REQUEST FORM and follow the instructions. You will need your email address and order number (if you are having any issues, please email [email protected] for assistance)
2. Check your emails for your return confirmation with all the information you need to return your items
3. Package up your order and send it back to us, please include your return authorisation e-mail. We recommend you use a tracked service. (We do not offer a free return service)
4. Once we receive your item please allow up to 21 working days for your return to be processed (on busy periods this may take slightly longer)
We recommend you select a reputable company though who offer tracking to ensure your parcel reaches us safely. As the parcel remains your responsibility until it arrives back with us, ensure that you get proof of postage in case you need to contact us about your return.
NOTE: All returns for change of mind or incorrect sizing will be the responsibility of the customer, including all costs associated with sending stock back for a refund.
WEB EXCHANGES
If you haven't got the right size then not to worry. If you would like to swap your purchase for the same style in a different size or colour in the same style, please fill out RETURN REQUEST FORM and state you want an exchange and the size you would like. If it is a different style you would like then please return your item using the above 'Returns' instructions requesting a refund and purchase the other style separately.
RECEIVING A WEB REFUND
Refunds will be credited to the same card or account which you made your original purchase. If for any reason that is not possible (i.e. the card has expired) we will contact you for further information. We refund all orders in sterling only.
OUR RETURN POLICY
· You must retain your receipt or proof of purchase until the returns process is complete.
· Please return all items, including the packaging
· The product must be in resalable condition
. Please don’t apply stickers or cellotape etc to the product.
· We will not accept returns that have been soiled, torn or damaged due to incorrect washing.
Availability
Although Ardblair Sports Importers Limited strives to make sure everything displayed on the website is in stock and available to purchase, occasionally items may have sold out. If any part of an order is unavailable the customer will be notified by telephone, text or email of any alternatives and or missing items. Item charged which is not available for delivery will be refunded.
Ardblair Sports Importers Limited reserves the right to conduct stock checks whenever it desires without any prior warning. When this happens, the site will still be able to receive orders, but until our stock check is complete no goods will be sent out. Upon completion all orders will be processed and dispatched.
Colours
Ardblair Sports Importers Limited does its best to accurately represent the colours in the photography. However, Ardblair Sports Importers Limited has no control over its customers' monitor settings (colours, resolution, etc.) so we cannot guarantee the colours will be exactly as they appear on the website. We will happily refund or exchange an item within the specified period as set out in returns and exchanges section, but will not constitute the above as falling into the faulty or wrong items section.
Promotions
Promotions run by www.aku.co.uk must not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
All promotions will finish on the specified date; no exceptions will be made. All promotions are subject to stock availability.
Product Warranties
The customer has the right to return a wrong item (different to what is visible on the e-shop) or a damaged one, within 60 days from the date of purchase. Customers can claim against any manufacturing fault within 2 years from the date of purchase to the Warranty Office.
Warranty
Aku Italia Srl (the manufacturer) warranties each product for a 2 year term from the date of purchase for any manufacturing defect and noncompliance. For any claim occurring during this period, ASI will see to repairing (according to Aku Italia Srl’s judgement) or substituting the product, or its parts, according to the below guidelines. The Customer will not be charged for any parts or materials used for the repair. The Manufacturer reserves the right to decide whether to repair faulty products or substitute them with new ones – in a different colour, with the same or better characteristics, in case the original product should no longer be available. The warranty does not cover wear and tear nor neglect of care of the purchase.

For losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made.

aku.co.uk is constantly changing and these terms and conditions may change from time to time. aku.co.uk reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without notice.
Events Beyond Our Control
aku.co.uk has no liability to you for the failure to deliver goods or any delay or damage or defect to the goods delivered that is caused by an event or circumstances beyond our control including without limitation, acts of God, strikes, lockouts, industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, war, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire explosion, civil commotion or governmental actions and any other similar events.
